Motor Check - 23-02-07

Time to see what's inside the motor ! it was easyer to unmount than advertized elsewhere. Just follow pictre to get an insight on. I won't cover step by step remove, but the overall operation in no particular order, maybe i'll write some more detailed information later contact me.

This is the motor at it's basic: the armature, the endcap and the rotor.

That's the end of the roto with two rings, one flat and one ondulated to keep the rotor in place

Bottom of the motor view

This is the cap with the two brushes, they are still long

The rotor again... the assembly of the wres is one time only, no further unmount

The armature, notice the ferromagnets inside the transparent plastic, a lot of powder inside !

General dirt

Closeup view

The surface is not perfect, some rust inside but nothing of serious

Washed ! that's a better shot !

Some minor surface to clean out, no moving parts here

That's curious, why that thing inside ? below the explanation
The ferromagnets have a very strong field, so it was impossibole to fit the rotor back in place without having it scratch the internal surface, so to avoid this and have some degree of movement i put a small piece of stoffa (actually i'm missing the word) so the rotor can slip inside without too much ""danger""

Notice the sign to fit it back in place, however if you won't put it right, it won' close

Armature sign for the endcap mount

Close the 2 long screw and you are done

This is how to keep the brushes out, GENTLY put a small screwer and pull out the copper wire.

Don't pull too much, applyng the screwremover like this is sufficient to retract enought the brushes

another shoot
