Really easy just follow pictures !

We start with this

This is our well know friend... Laptop ---> sVideo ---> cable ---> Scart Adapter ---> Tv ---> B/W... Damn !

Here we have (from leftto right) Composite (yellow), s-video, right audio (red) and left-mono audio (white)

On the other side we have standard SCART connector (palm is only keeping it from falling)

Here is a closeup of the connector, front view, notice pin numbers: you should see the same on your connector

Now: hot to turn this into a color version !

We are going to open the unit, mark the 20 and 15 pins and SOLDER them togheter ! that's all ! follow 4 details...

You just need some simple tool

That is the connector opened: gently pass a cutter along the border

They may look as "many" wires... in reality we need just two of them !

We are seeing the connector from the internal side, remember what was Pin 15 and 20 from the outside.

Closeup view, this is the best place where to solder a small wire. I know, it looks like sh*t, BUT it's working pretty goood ! There is so little space to work...

Now wait a moment, you may want to check your connections, if you don't know go here and follow instructions :)

After that, close the connector, link s-video...

Link to the Tv.. uh oh, look like i need to clean :| Note: no audio is connected yet

Make sure Pc is actually seeing the Tv and enable output (this is an Ati card)

Set the TV as primary Output, set the video location (for me it's italy = PAL_B), i've an ATI IGP320 (integrated graphics). Truly talking... there is a small procudure to warm things up. Links Pc and laptop, power the laptop, then the tv, then selected desktop properties and, by the video drivers, selected the available TV out.

Here we are ! colors ! colors !! ahhhh, it's working, it's working !! (Is this the way to Amarillo ?)

Oh yes ! to close it, just wrap some schotch because of no screws...
